About 600 St. Nicholas' aides brought gifts for 3000 children from poor families of the city.
During 11 - 19 December 2013 in Lviv Palace of Arts at the Factory of St. Nicholas holiday magic atmosphere reigned : St. Nicholas assistants packed gifts for children whose homes are hard to reach for St. Nicholas. Gifts for children have been brought by Lviv citizens, sponsors and guests of the city.
December 18 - 600 St. Nicholas' aides went to the road to spread gifts to 3000 little Lviv inhabitants . They visited every house, knocking on doors and saying, "I am from St. Nicholas! He asked me to give you a gift! "
There were transferred approximately 600 kg of sweets, 3000 TM Dobryana glazed cheese curds, about 4,000 toys, nearly 2,000 books, 3,500 children's magazines, and many other surprises and sincere smiles.
On December 19 th, during a festive event in the city, which is traditionally held in crowded places of Lviv, volunteers greeted passersby with the holiday, giving them candy, cards and smiles.
Ukrainian charitable campaign "St.Nicholas will not forget about" being held for the 13th time by the Academy of Ukrainian Youth together with educational institutions and public organizations of the city.
The action has to help children and young people to open themselves and be sensitive, indifferent and disinterested, present faith in miracles to those who really need it.
