On August 18 th in Lviv was hosted the annual festival "Bread`s Day"
Thousands of fans of fragrant rolls, delicious cakes and cookies come in Shevchenko Park for a holiday. There were about 20,000 visitors.
In addition to the delicious Ukrainian baking, guests were celebrated with songs and dances, and invited to participate in various workshops, and even in historical battles.
Fun for the little visitors were provided by TM Dobryana. The children with their parents participated in competitions and master classes, among them - basket weaving, pottery and weaving, doll workshop motanki and making pastries birds.
The highlight of the holiday was a half meter loaf-a handsome karavay (sweet bread), whose weight was 27 kg. At the end of the festival this loaf was cut and all the guests were treated with delicious karavay.
The current "Bread Festival" is the ninth and met visitors from all over Ukraine. Over the past few years, the festival reached the international level. This year's festival was visited by delegation from Poland.
