"Test" Center for Consumer Product Testing has investigated milk in the City of Sumy and hard cheese in the City of Lviv.
In accordance with the results of the independent laboratory investigation of eight samples of milk, which are sold in the shops in the City of Sumy under various brands, as well as the loose milk "manufactured by old women", who is engaged in retail trade, Dobryana trade mark milk has received the highest grade ("Excellent") for quality and safety from specialists of "TEST" Center for Consumer Product Testing. Results of this investigation were officially declared by the Head of "Test" Center, Mr. Valentin Bezrukiy in the course of the press conference, which was held on February 13, 2013. The laboratory investigations, which were initiated by "TEST" Center, include tests of the following figures: physical and chemical composition, microbiology, flavor, smell, consistency index, as well as exterior view of the product. Particularly, tests of "Dobryana" trade mark sweet cream butter ("Krestyanskoye"; "Farm") have shown that the product conforms fully to all organoleptic indicators, does not contain any pathogenic microflora, vegetable oils, and antibiotics, as well as has a characteristic milk odor.
"The homemade milk continues to astonish us. Having made a number of regional investigations, we have found that it is unsafe to drink the milk, which was "manufactured by old women, who are engaged in retail trade," in the rough condition due to mass problems in the sphere of microbiology," has commented Valentin Bezrukiy, Head of "Test" Center for Consumer Product Testing.
During this same period of time, "Test" Center for Consumer Product Testing has tested genuineness of the hard cheeses, which were purchased in the City of Lviv.
The results of these tests are as follows: 8 hard cheeses from the total 12 samples have confirmed their milk origin and microbiological safety. These 8 cheeses include the cheeses, which were produced by "Dobryana" TM Subsidiary Enterprise. The price range of the cheeses, which were declared the winners: from 88.48 Hryvnias down to 54 Hryvnias per 1 kilogram.
It was found that four samples of the cheaper cheeses were adulterated ones, because of they have contained nondairy fats. Therefore, it is worth to purchase cheap cheeses for mousetraps only.
"Of course, cost of cheeses depends on the specific kind of cheese. The "Russian" cheese and the "Dutch" cheese are more affordable than, for example, Radomer cheese and Maasdam cheese. However, as it was found in the course of the investigations, there exist certain price lines nonetheless: cheeses that are cheaper than 50 Hryvnias per 1 kilogram, in all likelihood, can not be the real ones, and there is no need to believe sellers in the markets, who will ensure you that this is the real cheese." has commented results of the investigations Mrs. Nina Kildiy, Head of the Department of "Test" Center for Consumer Product Testing.
